Inter got goals from one player and downed the hometown Bologna 6-1 (3-0) on Saturday in Serie A action.
Inter took an early lead when Lautaro Martinez scored in the 6th minute, with an assist by Denzel Dumfries, making it 0-1.
The team increased the lead to 2-0 after half an hour’s play as Milan Skriniar found the net, with an assist by Federico Dimarco.
Inter also increased their lead to 3-0, when Nicolo Barella scored, in the 34th minute.
In the 54th minute, Matias Vecino netted, with an assist by Federico Dimarco, to increase the lead for Inter.
With barely 30 minutes on the clock, Inter’s Edin Dzeko scored with an assist by Marcelo Brozovic, and increased the lead.
Edin Dzeko also scored goal, in the 68th minute as he scored, with an assist by Alexis Sanchez.
The goal that reduced the score to 6-1 came in the final minutes, when Arthur Theate scored a goal for Bologna, with an assist by Musa Barrow. Bologna were unable to score any more goals. The 6-1 goal was the last goal of the game.
The last match between the teams ended in a 1-0 away win for Inter in April 2021.
