West Bromwich Albion took command of the Championship game from the start at home to Sheffield United on Wednesday. The game was all one way traffic as the 1-0 lead was easily coverted to a 4-0 win.
In the 26th minute, West Bromwich Albion took a 1-0 lead through an own-goal.
Straight after the break, Dara O’Shea made his mark and increased the team’s lead.
In the 53rd minute, Alex Mowatt scored, with an assist by Karlan Ahearne-Grant, to increase the lead for West Bromwich Albion.
West Bromwich Albion found the net once more, this time through Callum Robinson, who scored, with an assist by Kyle Bartley, in the 59th minute. The 4-0 goal was the last one of the game.
Sheffield United have had a sluggish start to the season and have only one point from their first three games. West Bromwich Albion are on seven points.
In the next round on Saturday, West Brom face Blackburn away at Ewood Park, while Sheffield Utd host Huddersfield.
